September 2nd

Went to Manitoulin for a few days in mid-August – lots of rain but managed to enjoy great food with Mark and Judy and also a visit with Aunt Nola and cousin Lynn.

Squirrel was in the “Olacke’s” – southern Ontario – squirrel proof bird feeder. The field of canola was leaving Providence Bay.

Saw this unusual Cardinal – discovered it has molted – and its skin is black – so appears to be a black headed Cardinal . Here it is feeding its young.

September 2 – raining – hopefully it will stop early this afternoon. We’ll see. Have a great September everyone.
